Who Are We?

ICAAN stands for I Challenge Achieve And Never give up. ICAAN is an organisation that helps individuals who are currently in the criminal justice system or at risk of entering it.

We aim to do this by equipping them with knowledge, confidence, belief and letting them know what they ‘CAAN’ achieve and present alternative paths available to them.

We provide support in a variety of different ways to enable and empower individuals to reach their full potential and become the best possible versions of themselves. We challenge them to pursue their dreams.

ICAAN aims to show youth and young offenders that there is an alternative to their current lifestyle. We aim to give hope to long-term offenders, helping them step into their purpose. We want to raise a generation of people excelling in the field they are most passionate about. In turn, steering them away from anything that could land them in trouble. Our goal is to completely put a stop to people entering and re-entering the system.

A productive way for an individual to serve their time is by reading books and capturing their thoughts and lessons.
Mentoring

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, instead, we treat people as individuals and work holistically to create bespoke journey plans.
Through The Gate

We work with individuals who have engaged in the mentoring or Ireti project once they are released from prison.

Providing insight and training to professionals who work with young people and those who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
