Online Advice Service for Young People and Professional’s Who Work Within The Criminal Justice System
Through this Online Advice Service, we encourage participants to ask the panel questions; nothing is off-limit. Aimed specifically at young people and professionals who work with young people, we want to provide an option to seek guidance from our advisory board and seek answers before acting on impulse which can lead to severe, and sometimes life-changing circumstances.
These panel members provide advice on the work we do from the perspective of lived experience - a key component of many services. Their experiences are real, and therefore could make a difference. They want to share as part of their healing process, the joy of overcoming obstacles they have faced.
In addition to the above, people can also read stories, poems and lyrics from individuals currently in the criminal justice system to see things from their perspective. This will provide unprecedented insight into the everyday struggles of those serving time.
